Sharyl Sutton is a story pitching expert and specializes in rollouts and startups. Sharyl earned her stripes in public and media relations at a PR/marketing firm in Denver and Director of PR at a South Carolina school district, but her roots stem from broadcast news.
She’s an award-winning television journalist who has anchored, produced and reported for statewide outlets in Georgia, Alabama plus network affiliates in Savannah, Des Moines, Central Illinois, Topeka, and Tuscaloosa. Sharyl is a recipient of the Green Eyeshade Journalism Award from the Atlanta Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
Sharyl is certified in emotional intelligence, scuba, raw vegan food prep and previously spin certified. She’s hiked and camped part of the Applacian, jumped a static line twice and helped raise chickens. She’s unofficially certified as a homeschooling mama teacher for her two daughters and special needs son. They have a gerbil named Gilbert.
