New Year’s Eve is one of the biggest party days of the entire year. What makes your Seraphim Social Beverage the perfect choice for the celebration?

It’s a NEW way to drink socially. It tastes yummy and it’s a healthy way to start out the New Year. Get a jumpstart on your potential “get-healthier-in-the-new year” resolution with Seraphim Social Beverage!

There is a movement happening in the beverage space right now that’s steering people away from alcohol. Is this becoming more than just a trend?

Yes!  It’s about having options and being inclusive. There is not one way to have a good time AND there has been more and more focus on preventative health and wellness. This beverage supports that new mindset.

How does a product like Seraphim Social Beverage create a mood? What does it do for the body and mind?

Seraphim Social Beverage is brewed like tea, dried botanicals are steeped for flavor and healing, AND it drinks like a red (wine). So, there’s a mood evoked of comfort and celebration all at once!

Describe the flavor profile. If you were comparing it to tea or wine, what notes would taste familiar on the palate?

Pure Blend Cassia has notes of cinnamon and hibiscus and Pure Blend Cacao has the chocolate notes of cacao. They blend sour cherry and wild blueberry. And they both have pepper for a little kick and oak bark for a dry finish. Then there’s an added benefit of herbal extracts of elderberry and oat for their inherent health properties. The authenticity lies in the actual presence of berries and botanicals not just flavor notes.

At what point did you think, “Hey, I have this wonderful drink. I should turn it into a business.”

Actually, it was at a New Year’s Eve dinner. I brought a bottle that I had crafted in my kitchen because I didn’t want to drink that much alcohol that night and I wanted to see how it was received. Guests loved it and encouraged the birth of a business with, “You’ve got to bottle this for the public!”

You’re still very much a young, growing brand. Are there any mistakes you’ve learned from that you could share to help other entrepreneurs?

Yes, a few, but one that stands out right now is to be consistent with the price. Don’t compromise because, if you are producing a quality product that has value and offers something beneficial, people will appreciate it and buy it. Stay true to your vision and mission.

Now for a question that I ask all of our clients: Name one thing you like about working with Orca Communications.

They are dedicated and work hard for their brands. I’ll check my e-mail at 7 am and Debbie has already started working on something. It feels like they want me to succeed and are trying their best to support that success.

Are there any new products, flavors, or projects you’re working on right now that you’d like to share?

In the new year, I plan to create an earthy blend, something herbaceous with a rooted feel. Coming off of the themes of the first two blends, because of the benefits they offer…Cassia “Happy and Healthy” and Cacao “Calm and Clear, I think I’ll call this one “Rooted and Ready”! And perhaps ’ll look for an herbal extract that provides grounding and uplift.
